NICO LUMINOUS

LA’s eccentric and talented niCo luMinouS is at it again with another HUGE 5 track release, the “Unearth The Diamond” EP. He dropped this on February 19th for choice of donation on Bandcamp, and it’s been championing my headphones ever since.

“Unearth The Diamond” presents niCo‘s obvious love for Glitch Hop, soulful Dubstep, and Dancehall in beautiful form. This is a galactic roller coaster through the BPM spectrum, carrying the hypnotic low-end manipulation niCo has come to master throughout the entire EP.

The LA bass maker, Nico Luminous, took Mr. Marley’s classic tune, “Sun Is Shining,” and applied his West coast sound resulting in a dubby glitch-hop interpretation. It’s mellow, danceable, and fitting to our current season here in the US. Best of all, Nico did us all a favor by giving it out for free. Listen and grab it after the jump.
